Children, Things We Throw Away

We live in an opinionated society. Everybody has an opinion on everything. Abortion which is our current (civil war), is just one of those issues. Yet I believe abortion is the issue that is tearing apart our country more than any other. The truth is, it doesnt matter at all what our opinions are concerning abortion, it only matters what God says.

The question isnt whether or not a woman has the right to choose abortion. For those who advocate pro-choice, would have you believe that you rights are being violated. The question rather should be; is this a human being that is being thrown away?

Before I get into what God has to say on this topic, I want to tell you what science says. It has been medically proven that the babys heart starts beating from 14-28 days after conception (usually before the mother even knows shes pregnant) and by the 30th day almost every organ has started to form! By the 6th week the arms and legs are moving and by 43 days the brain waves can be read. By the 8th week the baby has fingerprints, can urinate, make a strong fist and can feel pain.

What does God have to say? God thorough the Bible speaks to man thus. Life is in the blood which takes place at conception. For the life of a creature is in the blood. (Leviticus 17:11)

For you created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mothers womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, Your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your books before one of them came to be. (Psalm 139:13-16)

God also tells us he has a plan for us, even before we were formed. Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart: I appointed you as a prophet to the nations. (Jeremiah 1:5) The Lord said to Rebekah, Two nations are in your womb, and two peoples from within you will be separated: one people will be stronger than the other, and the older will serve the younger. (Genesis 25:23)

Pro-choice people say that its the womans body and she doesnt have to answer anyone concerning how she chooses to use it. Is it really her body? Can she do to it as she wants without consequences? God says that He is the Creator of our bodies and that we will have to give an account to Him concerning how we use them. Then God said, Let us make man in our image, in our likeness. (Genesis 1:26) So then, each of s will give account of himself to God. (Romans 14:12) Prostitutes go to jail for soliciting their bodies and drug addicts go to jail for putting drugs into their bodies. Science concurs with what the Bible has been telling us, for thousands of years, abortion is murder.

If you are about to make the fatal mistake of ending a life given as a gift of God (Behold, children are a gift of the Lord; the fruit of the womb is a reward. (Psalm 127:3) Please reconsider, the baby belongs to God, even though it may be in your womb.
